FormProof

Privacy Policy

Effective September 9, 2026

FormProof has one purpose: to create a private, user-controlled receipt of answers that a user submits through Google Forms.

Information FormProof handles

When a user submits a Google Form, FormProof reads the visible form title, questions, answers, source URL, and submission time to create the requested receipt. This information may include personal or sensitive information if the user entered such information into the form.

Form receipts are stored locally in the user's Chrome profile using chrome.storage.local. The developer does not receive, view, transmit, sell, or use the contents of form receipts for advertising, analytics, or any unrelated purpose.

Payments

FormProof uses ExtensionPay and Stripe to provide the optional lifetime upgrade. ExtensionPay may process the purchaser's email address and paid status, and Stripe processes payment information. FormProof does not receive or store complete payment-card details. ExtensionPay and Stripe process information under their respective privacy policies.

No Google Form titles, questions, answers, or receipt contents are sent to ExtensionPay or Stripe.

Data sharing and sale

The developer does not sell user data. Form receipt content is not shared with third parties. Payment-related information is transmitted only to ExtensionPay and Stripe as necessary to process a purchase, restore access, and verify paid status.

Data retention and deletion

Receipts remain in the user's local Chrome storage until the user deletes individual receipts, selects Delete all receipts, clears the extension's browser data, or uninstalls FormProof. The developer cannot recover locally deleted receipts.

Security

Payment and entitlement requests use HTTPS. FormProof does not use remote executable code, advertising scripts, or analytics.

Limited Use

FormProof's use of information obtained from Google Forms is limited to providing and improving the single user-facing receipt feature. The use of information complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the effective date above will be updated and the Chrome Web Store listing will be updated as required.
